Engineering Director Skills Required: Project Management, Capital Planning, Stage-gate processes, Fermentation process, Gasification processes Job Description: Projects & Engineering DirectorIf you are a great Projects & Engineering Director with great experience, please read on!What you need:- Undergraduate degree in engineering; an advanced engineering degree helpful. - Minimum of 10 to 15 years experience in chemical, refining or industrial manufacturing and/or capital projects with prior supervision experience of a large group and a record of accomplishment in successful execution. - Exceptionally strong communications skills. - Ability to work across all disciplines and throughout all levels of the organization in a persuasive and credible manner. - Demonstrated ability to create, identify, and communicate appropriate project execution strategies. - Strong, interpersonal and people leadership skills are necessary. - Demonstrated leadership of project/portfolio management and stage-gate processes preferred. - Experience with fermentation or gasification processes preferred. - Knowledge of safety and quality management systems - Effective time management skills - Initiative to work independently as well as participate in and lead teams - Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required What you'll be doing:- Meeting SHE objectives and comply with all governmental laws and policies for capital projects during execution, startup, and normal operations. - Establishing, maintaining, and adhereing to engineering practices and guidelines required to achieve compliance with governmental laws and policies - Bringing each capital project in on budget and schedule, and seamlessly hand it over to Operations - Developing and implementing tools for setting business priorities and managing capital projects - Assembling cross-functional teams required to support successful execution of capital projects with a focus on safe and reliable startup and operations of assets - Establishing networks with EPC contractors to ensure access to necessary skills and resources - Facilitating development of engineering procedures and document control. - Managing the portfolio of capital projects to maximize benefit to business - Working with customers and stakeholders to ensure alignment between business priorities and project objectives - Developing annual budget for the portfolio of projects - Establishing and implementing a capital planning process - Ensuring use of best practices in project execution, including benchmarking - Managing the capex portfolio with objective of delivering top tier capital performance. - Establishing processes for reviewing efficiency and cost effectiveness of capex project deliveries vs. industry benchmarks What's in it for you:- A competitive Salary - Great benefits planSo, if you are a great Projects & Engineering Director with great experience, please apply today!Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.
