Experience: My client, a $300 million sugar processor/manufacturer, the fifth largest, with operations in four states; is seeking a Project Engineer to join their Colorado team.  The successful candidate will have the following skill sets and background:Bachelor Degree in Engineering (BSME preferred) A minimum of 5 years with design and engineering for capital & maintenance projects in a food manufacturing environment (sugar mfg. a strong plus) Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Suite of productsDescription: Responsibilities of the Project Engineer will include (but are not limited to), Capital improvement, in cooperation with the Operations & Agriculture departments to: Equipment design, layout, sizing, etc. Pump & Piping design, layout, sizing, etc. Project Estimates and schedules Engineering for Safety & Quality, coordinating with respective teams Engineering for equipment reliability, design and changes/improvementsCompany: The company is committed to the integration of environmental concerns into their normal operation, training and management procedures. They encourage a culture of environmental awareness through training and communication.
