Project Engineer - Compressor Electronics

The Project Engineer is responsible for the integration of electronics onto refrigeration compressors, including the development of enclosures, selection of connectors, application of sensors and switches for enhanced performance, reliability and ease of service.

Design of compressors and electronics for integration into and compatibility with Intelligent Store Network.

Interface with contractors, OEM's and end users for start up and training support.

Development of reciprocating compressors for increased efficiency and reliability, cost reduction, agency approval and to meet environmental standards.

Requirements:
BSME/BSEE or equivalent plus a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.

GD&T, fundamentals of electrical circuits, supermarket refrigeration fundamentals including compressor operation and service requirements.

Must be capable of using computer based software packages for diagnostics and programming.

Must be able to make formal presentations to customers and contractors, and provide technical training.

Technical writing skills a plus.

10% Travel Required.
