Production Supervisor - Reserve, LA

We currently have an immediate opening for a Production Supervisor.The Production Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of union employees handling high-speed production lines. Additional responsibilities include verifying the availability of raw materials, preparing for daily production start-ups and daily production reports and entering production numbers and down time information into the PeopleSoft system.  Click here to view A Day In the Life for this and other frontline careers at PepsiAmericas.For successful performance in this position, this incumbent is required to possess a High School Diploma; Bachelor's Degree is preferred. This incumbent will also be required to possess superb leadership abilities with 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a production environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is also required. We are in search of a team-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills. A detail-oriented individual with the ability to prioritize and problem solve is a must. Previous experience with liquid filling and high-speed packaging equipment and food or beverage industry experience is strongly desired.
