Production Supervisor - Pressroom

Beverage-Air, a leading manufacturer of self-contained, commercial refrigerated equipment for the Food Service Industry, has an immediate opening for a Production Supervisor in our Press Department at our manufacturing facility located in Brookville, PA.

 

The Press Supervisor plans, directs and coordinates work activities and resources necessary for sheet metal fabrication in accordance with cost, quantity and quality specifications. Primary duties include supervising and scheduling three shifts of personnel, sheet metal inventory control, managing all aspects of shearing, punching and forming operations, supervising the maintenance of various press department machines, including punch / die maintenance and conferring with staff to resolve production or processing problems. Other responsibilities include maintaining production reports and reviewing processes and procedures for efficiency and cost savings.

 

What you must have for this position:

  Industrial management experience Technology background with trouble shooting capabilities Ability to organize work flow, delegate work and schedule personnel. Good computer, people and communications skills 3-5 years of supervisory experience Demonstrated project management ability, managing projects from start to finish Bachelor degree with 10-12 years manufacturing experience preferred Experience with and an understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Kaizen principals preferred.
