Production Shift Supervisor

Greatwide Distribution Logistics, a leader in the warehousing industry, has an immediate opening for a Production Shift Supervisor in Bridgeton, MO. 

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of the warehouse and implementation of warehouse and production action plans and daily supervision of production personnel to ensure the safe, clean and efficient operation of the warehouse and machinery.  Other duties include assisting in developing a program to train and motivate personnel for increased effectiveness, work schedules and assignments to assure effective and efficient operation. 

 

A qualified candidate will have:3-5yrs experience in a production environment 1-2yrs emphasis on leadership and supervision in production. Will be a producing supervisor in which candidate must be able to fill in on the production line when necessary and operate a forklift, lift up to 70 lbs and other duties as needed Bilingual in Spanish is required Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Able to manage a crew of 25+ workers to include discipline, payroll, coaching and counseling Ability to train and motivate individuals to work safely while maintaining production and quality goals Excellent verbal and time-management skills
