Production Planning Analyst - API Requisition Number: 22500BR This position will be responsible for planning, ordering, and monitoring of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) for global manufacturing.Responsibilities:-Convert gorldwide manufacturing's finished goods requirements to equivalent API-Plan requirements for API deliveries to ensure that the domestic and / or international production schedules will be met-Place orders on the API manufacturing sites for delivery of the API-Ensure shipments of API are made timely in accordance with the customer orders-Notify the appropriate manufacturing location of expected dates-Track manufacturing inventory levels of APIs and determine months / weeks of supply-Work closely with NJ Quality Control regarding receipt testing of API to ensure timelines are met for the NJ production schedule-Participate in NJ manufacturing & QC teams to address any supply chain issues-Coordinate with the Manager, Worldwide API Planning to determine impact of any API allocation schemes on global manufacturing-Provide management reports on API forecasts, deliveries, and inventory levelsQualificationsThis position requires a BS in one of the sciences (Biology, Chemistry), Materials Management,Finance or Engineering, preferably with an MBA.A minimum of 7 years of experience is required, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.Schering-Plough is an equal opportunity employer.
