Production Leader

 

ATI Allegheny Ludlum, an operating company of Allegheny Technologies (NYSE: ATI), manufactures and markets a wide range of flat rolled specialty metals, including stainless steel, nickel alloys, titanium and electrical steels to global end use markets such as aerospace, power generation, automotive and housing.  Our goal is to safely deliver exceptional value to our customers, suppliers, employees and shareholders.  We are seeking a Primary Production Leader for our melt shop located in Midland, PA.

 

Requirements:

 

·  A minimum Associates degree in a related technical discipline is desired.

·  Experience dealing with 3rd parties such as customers and supplies

·  Experience with plant quality systems and performance standards such as ISO 9001 and other customer/industry specific certifications

·  Leading a diverse, represented workforce in day-to-day shop floor activities, as well as interact with senior management on a wide range of business issues

·  Leading continuous improvement efforts and all aspects of lean manufacturing.

·  Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems and strong analytical are required.  Candidates must also possess excellent oral and written communication skills as well as exceptional interpersonal skills.

 

Candidates must also be willing to work shifts.  Military background is a plus.
