Production Engineer, Industrial

DENSO Wireless Systems America, Inc. an original equipment manufacturer of automotive navigation systems and automotive electronics is seeking an Production Engineer, Industrial, to join our Production Engineering Team.

 

Essential Functions

 

· Facilitate and participate in ongoing TIE improvement team activities.

· Participate in assembly cost reduction, productivity and quality improvement, and expansion activities.

· Provide sustaining support for assembly production area and to develop and implement operational documentation and procedures.

·  Provide TIE project development and implementation leadership.

 

Minimum Requirements

 

·  Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or related field.

·  Direct experience with analyzing and evaluating methods of production to efficiently allocate resources (equipment and labor) including time studies and line balancing. 

·  Familiarity with work design and measurement, operations research, human factors engineering and simulation and expert systems.

·  Strong PC background including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Power Point.

 

Desired Qualifications

 

·  1-2 years of related experience.

·  Previous experience in TPS environment and Lean Production Systems.

·  Experience in Tool and Fixture Design.

·  Statistical Process Control.

·  Visual Basic or similar programming experience.

·  Manufacturing test, assembly, and SMD experience.

·AutoCad
