Product Sales Specialist

The Product sales Specialist is responsible for providing sales support to the dealer, organization, customers, Regional Business Managers, and the order entry group.  This includes product application and technicalsupport, product sales training, development of  information, price pages, and sales information.  The Product Sales Specialist will also be aligned very closely with & support Product Management.  Product Sales Specialists are considered to be the "product experts" in their respective product area.  Approximately 80% of the Product Sales Specialist time be spent supporting local sales team and 20% supporting Product Management.  Responsibility for respective crane models includes; Hydraulic rough terrain and Hydraulic truck cranes, crawler lattice boon cranes, tower cranes, boom truck mounted cranes and Demag cranes(imported from Germany). Provide technical and product application support to the dealers, customers, Regional Business Managers and order entry group. Develop and maintain Terex Cranes Product Sales Manual. Collaborating with Product Management by supporting and assisting the development of customer and market knowledge, management of product life cycles, product portfolio management, and pricing analysis. Preparing and communicating Product Briefs. Gathering competitive information and developing tools to communicate information effectively. Preparing & updating price pages. Managing technical products through their entire life-cycle by analyzing product performance. Developing and conducting product sales training for the dealers and internal  functions. Collaborating with Marketing Communications to develop promotional materials; assisting with developing and maintaining Terex Crane product brochures and specification sheets. Assisting with publications and articles for trade journals and providing customer job stories. Representing the company to industry, via seminars, trade publications and industry trade shows. High School Diploma required, Bachelor's  in Business or Marketing and/or Technical Field preferred.  3-5 years experience with combination of relevant technical and commercial experience. Strong organizational skills. Excellent communication skills. Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Knowledge of industrial/construction equipment preferred.
