Product Safety Coordinator

This job will assist management to ensure the success of assigned projects and work closely with the project team to ensure objectives are delivered as expected. Perform duties as assigned to support the product safety management team. Implements and monitors compliance with standards and procedures for Product Safety projects. Implements and monitors incident reporting and ensures completion of documentation. Assist to ensure projects progress on schedule. Assist to prepare project status reports and keeps the team and management informed of project status and related issues. Assist to ensure the Product Safety intranet site remains current. Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION/TRAINING Bachelor's degree in related field or appropriate combination of education and experience. EXPERIENCE 3-5 years of progressive professional experience.   SKILLS Analyzes and resolves complex matters, exercising judgment and initiative. Provides information on complex matters to others for resolution. Interacts internally and with related groups on matters that involve explanation and discussion to achieve agreement. Excellent project management skills, including demonstrated negotiation and facilitation skills. Strong MS Office Skills, (Excel, Powerpoint, Word and MS Project) and CAD or Graphic Software skills and experience. Excellent facilitation, communication and inter-personal skills. Demonstrated ability to perform in demanding multi-tasking environment. Excellent analytical skills, including ability to plan and organize. Ability to be creative, flexible and responsive to organizational needs. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Sedentary involves constant sitting. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally, frequent lifting of 1-2 pounds. TRAVEL Must be able to travel on an occasional basis.
