M/D Totco is part of the National Oilwell Varco family of companies.  Our company manufactures and provides services to performance based drilling instrumentation, sensors, data acquisition and controls.  This position will be located at our Cedar Park, TX facility.

 

The Product Line Manager is responsible for guiding a product from inception through successful commercialization by being accountable for the development, recommendation, and attainment of approved overall marketing strategies.  In addition, this position is responsible for revenue and margin forecasts which contribute to the sound, profitable growth and return on investment objectives. 

 

Principle accountabilities for the Product Line Manager are to provide leadership in a cross-functional team environment to deliver new products to market.  The role will maintain decision making responsibilities across the product life cycle including financial justifications, business case development, technical and customer requirements management, product design and market delivery. 

 

BS/BA in Geology, Engineering or other related science is required.  MBA is preferred.  The qualified candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of upstream oil and gas experience combined with knowledge of rig components, surface logging equipment and gas detection techniques.  Mud logging/well site geology experience and related interpretation skills are a plus.  We are looking for a self-starter with excellent communication skills that can deliver outstanding presentations.  Project management certification is preferred. 

 

The position requires both domestic and international travel along with the ability to work effectively in office or field environments.
