Product Development Manager
Jackson Safety, the Ultimate Safety Solution in Work Zone, Welding and Personal Safety Products is seeking an experienced Associate Product Manager. The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for the management of selected products to all sales channels. Job duties include but are not limited to: Identifying new product opportunities by means of customer-generated ideas and research; competition, market trends and sales force. Manage product teams to execute projects, adhere to new product process, ensure product integrity and launch new products on schedule. Perform administrative tasks to include design target pricing and complete product process forms.
Manage ongoing product rationalization. Communicate with key areas of organizations, Marketing and Sales, Sourcing, QA, Operations/Forecasting, Engineering. Work with targeted suppliers in conjunction with Sourcing. Conduct product/applications training as needed.
Qualified candidates must posses a Bachelors degree with three to five years of safety experience or three to five years of product management experience. Must be extremely detail oriented, aggressive, proactive, competitive, excellent follow-up skills, experience with government sales, strong communicator, driven to meet deadlines, ability to multi-task, experience with navigating government web sites. Must possess the following skill sets; analytical, design, problem solving, project management, technical, customer service, interpersonal, oral and written, teamwork and leadership skills.
