Stellar opportunity within a Thriving, Growing and Promising manufacturing company located in West Michigan.  A leader in their market, our Client, has an immediate need for a Product Development Engineer. This product is a highly engineered and will provide a challenging and rewarding work environment with engineers, designers, technicians and program managers.

Qualifications of the Successful Candidate will include:BS degree in Mechanical Engineering5 to 10 years of product design and development experience, preferably in steel stamping and welding and/or aluminum castings – NVH engineering experience is a plus. Must be able to work as an individual contributor as well as a member of a team to improve manufacturing processes, product quality and to reduce costs. Responsible for product design; establishing prints and specifications, developing prototypes and specifying tests to meet the customer's functional and cost requirements. Strong communication skills as this position will be the main line of technical communication with the customer, sales personnel, and other departments.
