Procurement Expeditor (Contract)Rosemont, ILThis is a great Long Term Contract position!  We are looking for a Procurement Expeditor for our clients Procurement Department. Individual will work closely with the engineering staff.   Responsibilities:·  Compile specifications, qualified providers list, required delivery dates, bids, and other procurement criteria needed to prepare purchase orders to procure materials and services. ·  Serve as liaison between engineering staff, Purchasing, and equipment. ·  Develop and maintain records of purchases and service agreements. ·  Visit key vendor sites to confirm equipment specifications and delivery schedule are being maintained. ·  Track contract obligations against outstanding orders and assures accurate project accounting of procured items. ·  Prepare a payment profile for procured equipment and services for each project. ·  Prepare documentation for acceptance criteria for procured equipment and services.  Requirements:·  High school degree (Associates degree preferred)·  3-8 years working in a purchasing/expediting and materials control experience desired in a manufacturing environment. ·  Must be a highly organized and detail individual able to work in a fast paced environment within limited timelines.
