Procurement Commodity Manager
Procurement Commodity Manager
Cleveland-based Tier 1 supplier to the automotive industry is seeking a procurement professional to join its Corporate Purchasing Staff and assume the responsibility for direct material component acquisition activities for commodities such as fasteners, rubber parts, coatings and/or stampings.
Duties will include negotiating and managing several supplier/commodity contracts. You will be expected to contribute to the achievement of corporate goals in cost reduction, minority business content and supplier optimization.
Candidate accepted will have a 4-year college degree and possess a minimum of 2-4 years buying experience (direct or indirect commodities)
