Several Chicago and Chicago Suburban Custom injection molding companies are currently searching for Injection Molding Process Technicians for all shifts. Qualified candidates will have a minimum 3 years experience troubleshooting the injection molding process with presses ranging from 35 to 1000 tons. Will be responsible for Start Up/Shutdown of presses, overseeing operators, perform mold changes and set ups as necessary. Ability to interpret blueprints is desired. Knowledge of any of the following is helpful, insert molding, stackmolding, two-shot molding, or gas assist molding. Knowledge of a wide range of materials is also helpful. Candidates must be able to work overtime as needed and capable of working with a minimum of supervisor.
