Process Set-Up Engineer, Pharmaceutical
Experience: One of the most recognized names in the World as a producer of liquid pharmaceuticals is seeking a strong Process Set-up Engineer to join their team in sunny Florida. Three (3) plus years experience in support of process set-up / start-up and change overs within a liquids environment. Some knowledge of Automation Systems, PLC's, and SCADA networks, is preferred. Previous experience in providing direction to maintenance technicians, set-up operators, and controls technicians is required. Knowledge of GMP’s and SOP’s is required. Must have excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills. Description:Position will support the production environment through the direction of batch set-up / change-over. Provide direction to maintenance personnel during the scale-up of manufacturing systems and processes. Ensure that all documentation to support process validation engineers is prepared per cGMP / FDA guidelines. Train new operators / set-up personnel on new process equipment set-up or on changes, modifications, updates, or improvements to existing equipment. The selected candidate will work closely Formulation Scientists during process development for new products. Ensure that all maintenance, preventive maintenance, and scale-up procedures are strictly followed.Company: The successful candidate will join a multi-site World Leader in the Pharmaceutical industry.
