Process Manager
Our client is a multi billion global manufacturer of heavy machinery. The brand is highly recognizable and regarded around the world. The company has experienced significant growth in recent years and sees tremendous opportunity for further gains in market share. They need a manufacturing materials expert who is strong in master production planning/scheduling, order management, inventory management, demand planning, capacity planning, S&OP, and forecasting. The Supply Chain Scheduling Process Manager will provide leadership and direction to scheduling and orders staff to help accomplish order fulfillment objects. They will identify areas/projects requiring attention, develop priorities, identify work plans for staff and coordinate review of projects with facility management. Develop master production plan to accommodate customer demand. They will monitor production plan as needed while trying to balance fluctuating demand with the need for factory stability while minimizing inventory investment. Qualified candidates will have Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years in Materials management roles in an industrial manufacturing environment and Master Production Scheduler experience. They will have Six Sigma experience (Black Belt preferred) and knowledge of economic conditions and markets. APICS certification is desired along with sound judgment, strong communication skills and the ability to work with people. The location is in beautiful central Illinois.
