50,000.00 - 65,000.00 USD /year Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Manufacturing/Production/Operations Relevant Work Experience: 2+ to 5 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Company: Synerfac Technical Staffing Email: Apply by Email Website: www.synerfac.com Process Engineer PERMANENT POSITION Work for a growing Central New Jersey area innovative designer and custom converter of foam, plastics and natural fiber products serving the consumer and industrial markets.Process/Industrial EngineerPrimary Functions: • Provides technical support to Operations, Quality and Design Engineering, in order to resolve manufacturing issues and to drive continuous process improvements.  Is responsible for the Maintenance department and reports to the Plant Manager.Duties and Responsibilities: • Process Expert: Primary contact for manufacturing, regarding equipment and process issues, including (but not limited to) equipment downtime and production of nonconforming product. • Continuous Improvement Driver: Improve profitability and efficiencies of Value Stream, through implementation of process improvements, affecting scrap, labor and downtime. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cost savings through application of Lean manufacturing techniques such as 5S. • Participate in product launches to ensure a smooth transition from design and launch phases into manufacturing. • Responsible for equipment purchases as necessary including presenting justification for capital expenses on new equipment or process improvements, design and specification of equipment and standardization of equipment within manufacturing methods and safety requirements. • Design and manage new equipment process development, timing, budget, setup, debug and training. • Work with manufacturing, engineering, and quality to setup files for new products/processes or executes changes to existing ones. • Create, update, and maintain S.O.P's. Train operators on manufacturing processes • Generates CARs for manufacturing rejections and excessive scrap lossDesired Experience: • Knowledge of plastics, foamed plastics and textiles. • Sound knowledge of manufacturing methods, and processes used in foam converting. • Knowledge of molding equipment, techniques and tooling • Effective communication skills. • Project management skills. • Knowledge of Lean, Six-Sigma or TPM doctrines • Desired computer skills and software including: • SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MaterCam • Microsoft Word, Excel and ProjectEducation / Training: • Four year technical degree (Mechanical or Industrial engineering preferred). or equivalent experience PLEASE SUBMIT ALL RESUMES TO ABORBELY@SYNERFAC.COM  Anthony W.
