Process Control EngineerAK Steel has an immediate need for a Process Control Engineer at our Butler, Pennsylvania facility. AK Steel-Butler Works is a leading producer of carbon and specialty flat-rolled electrical and stainless steels. AK Steel maintains a relentless pursuit of excellence in safety, quality, and productivity.Duties and responsibilities: Develop, install and maintain level one and level two process control computer systems and applications Provide software/hardware support for operations, maintenance, and quality Coordinate routine maintenance functions for process control computer software and back-up filesRequirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline or Computer Science Experience with WDPF, Level 1 and 2 process control, VMS, Java, Controllogix, and Ladder logic Ability to coordinate and execute a multitude of projects within the allotted time and budget Excellent communication, statistical analysis, and troubleshooting skills Strong computer skills Willingness and ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environmentPreferred requirement: Melt Shop experience in steelmaking facility Furnace regulation optimization If you are interested in joining a committed team in a fast-paced, steel making facility, please apply now.
