With 38 manufacturing facilities worldwide and more than 10,000 employees, we serve customers in more than 100 countries and provide safety and security for people around the world every day.Tyco Safety Products is currently searching for a Principal Engineer Electronics to be located in Boca Raton, Florida.Job Responsibilities:This position is responsible for the design and development of digital hardware designs to include DSP, FPGA, CPLD, Microprocessors, and interface circuitry. Will use design simulation tools such as MatLab, or Xilinx tools to interface the software to the hardware. Designs will emphasize high speed digital circuits with interfaces to analog sensors, communications circuits and RF hardware. Ideal candidate will be able to take a design concept from the block diagram through schematic capture, layout and debugging. Will develop system level architecture, generate hardware specifications, design reviews, test and validate hardware designs, etc. Must work closely with software engineers and be able to provide hardware interfaces.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, from an accredited 4-year college or university.
