Aerotek Professional Services Location: Avon, MA 02322 Salary: USD 95,000.00 /year Position Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: Engineering Principal Engineer  Job Description: Our client, a leading developer and manufacturer of automation equipment, has an immediate opening for a Principal Engineer in their Avon facility.Qualified candidates will provide technical direction and expertise to the engineering department and be able to represent engineering on operation-wide issues.Job Responsibilities: -Direct involvement in engineered products orders, including detailed engineering calculations in support of the design efforts -Initiate and recommend improvements to the design process and quality of engineering output without specific direction from management -Involvement in the entire business cycle including support of sales & applications, customer specification reviews with project management, support of procurement activities including supplier communication/site visits, conducting final design reviews with engineering and manufacturing personnel, and shop floor support through final shipment. -Domestic and international travel will be REQUIRED to support customers, field personnel, and to serve as an Avon engineering representative on global issues.Job Qualifications: -Significant experience in the design, application and manufacturing of control valves -10+ years experience in demonstrating the ability to perform beyond the scope of senior engineering level capacity -10+ years experience in the control valve industry demonstrating a broad range of technical abilities and experience in leading engineering projects and teams. -Managing large engineering projects that include multi-discipline teamsEducation: BSMEIf you feel qualified for this position, please contact Angela Manley at 781-356-6917 or email resumes to [email address removed] for immediate consideration.Required Skills: PRINCIPAL ENGINEER/EMAS, CONTROL VALVEJoin Aerotek Professional Services.
