Within Tyco Safety Products, we design, manufacture, and distribute thousands of products ranging from fire detection and suppression systems, personal protective equipment and intrusion security to access control and video solutions, anti-theft and supply chain solutions.Ansul is a division of Tyco Safety Products and is currently searching for a Pressure Vessel Design Engineer to be located in Marinette, Wisconsin.Job Responsibilities:This position is responsible to design pressure vessels per the latest applicable domestic or foreign codes and other standards as required. Pressure vessel design codes & standards may vary between ASME, DOT, PED, TPED, SPV, ABS, CRN, ML/SQL, AS 1210.Ensure pressure vessel designs are to the latest applicable domestic or foreign codes & standards.Review code addenda?s for design & manufacturing changes and apply as necessary.Prepare submittals of pressure vessel designs for miscellaneous and customer approvals.Develop technical files and maintain design documentation as required.Prepare accurate and detailed quotations for new pressure vessel designs.Assist with the development of new pressure vessel designs or with changes to existing designs.Serve as the primary pressure vessel design contact for OEM customers.Represent ANSUL R&D with the PVMA (Pressure Vessel Manufacturers Association).Create pressure vessel design calculations using code software program.Assist manufacturing and quality control with production issues as required.Participate with new product introductions and cost reduction initiatives.Maintain controlled documents and represent the pressure vessel design area during facility audits.Review pressure vessel design drawing packages as prepared by CAD operators.Create pressure vessel design drawing packages using CAD software as required.Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university.3 - 5 years related experience.Must possess strong organization skillsMust possess strong multi tasking abilitiesExperience with AutoCAD and/or PRO-EExperience with CEI/Advanced Pressure Vessel a plusMust possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
