$45K – 50K range

Job Description:

Responsible for keeping the plant operational. This includes maintaining and operating all equipment, and responding to all equipment breakdowns under direction of the operations manager. This is a lead position requiring directing of plant personnel to ensure the following are achieved:

1) Production level consistent with Company standards. Make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.

2) Perform regular maintenance procedures on assigned equipment every 24 hours. Responsible for taking immediate action on equipment failures under the direction of the operation manager, in order to reduce the 'down' time.

3) Operation and maintenance of all equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Watch for and report all unsafe working conditions. Ensure that all safety equipment is being properly used at all time (ie guards) and that all safety policies and procedures (ie: Lockout/Tagout and fire procedures) are adhered to at all time.

4) Ensure cleanliness of the plant at all times.

5) Perform all other duties and handles projects as assigned by the management team.

Skills:

1)       Must have computer skills.

2)       Must have production experience.

3)       Must have mechanical aptitude.
