Plant Safety Coordinator

Position Summary:
Outlines, develops, and implements training programs about employee safety, procedures, and accident protection and prevention in the plants. Develops and distributes educational materials, inspects company facilities, recommends corrections or additional precautions to ensure compliance to established regulations, and maintaining documentation for safety program; OSHA logs, MSDS, training and toolbox documents.

Qualifications (Education/Experience) and Required Skills:
• Bachelors Degree; or, equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the safety field
• Knowledge of safety programs and their implementation
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office Programs, including; Excel, Word, Acrobat, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• OSHA reporting experience
