Payroll Systems Specialist

Gerdau is seeking an accomplished Payroll Systems Specialist to join the team in Tampa, FL.

 

Job Responsibilities

 Liaison between Payroll and IT to communicate what the SAP 5.0 system needs to accomplish in regards to specific functions for payroll, garnishments, taxes and reportsServes as an extension of the Payroll Manager; provides direction to the payroll teamSystem upgrade involvement, testing and procedure creation Communicates heavily with Payroll and IT staff Occasionally travels to nationwide sites for rollout initiatives and payroll training



Minimum Qualifications

 Minimum 5 years experience working in a payroll position3-5 years SAP functional knowledge; experience specifically with HR & Payroll modulesStrong verbal and written communication skills necessaryAbility to work independently and in a team environment
