Currently, we have an opening for an Packaging Clerk in our Parsippany, NJ facility. The responsibilities for this position include:
Strictly adhere to packaging proceduresVerify materials for quantity against posted ordersPackage special orders, according to specificationLearn customer packaging requirementsUse PNY’s automated labeling systems and equipmentMaintain levels of materials used in packaging processKeep packaging area clean in accordance with quality standardsMay perform other packaging duties including: placing labels on packages, counting and sorting, forming or breaking down boxes for final productPick orders against picking ticketsRoute product and pick ticketsPrint labelsCheck for product defects while packagingOperate assigned packaging equipmentAssist in other areas, as assigned
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent preferredAny similar experience preferredBasic oral and written communication skillsAbility and willingness to follow directionsStrong attention to detailAbility to communicate effectively in English a plusBasic ESD/ISO knowledge
