PROJECT ENGINEER (Welding & Fabrication)
Our client is a market leader in custom engineered industrial fans, dampers and mechanical ash handling systems. Their products are used by utilities, industrial customers and in the construction industry.
Our client is seeking a Project Engineer with expertise in welding and metal fabrication. The Project Engineer will be responsible for developing welding and fabrication techniques and methods to improve productivity, enchance product quality, and lower production costs.
The Project Engineer will also work with mechanical designers to identify and develop improved welding methods, fabrication techniques, and construction materials. The Project Engineer will drive the implementation of new methods and materials, resulting in improved product performance.
This position is located in Ohio .
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.Experience with statics, dynamics, vibration, materials and metallurgy.Experience with metal welding techniques and materials.Experience with metal fabrication and use of sheet metal and steel in equipment manufacture.Familiar with such standards as ASTM, AISI and AWS.
