PROJECT ENGINEER OPPORTUNITY

In this position you will: Review customer specifications and drawings pertaining to electrical power and control modules for the Offshore Oil and Gas industry Generate structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical Bill of Materials Generate structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical detail drawings for fabrication purposes Review and approve sub-vendors specifications and drawings such as HVAC systems and Fire and Gas Detection/Suppression systems Interface with fabrication and inspection personnel, as well as with customer, during design and fabrication stage

No travel required, all work will be done in the manufacturing facility, not offshore.

 

Requirements:

•        Minimum 3 years project coordination experience

•        Experience with Offshore Oil and Gas end user or related

fabrication environment a plus

•        Computer literate; AutoCad and Excel a minimum

•        Able to read structural, mechanical and electrical/instrumentation drawings

•        Costing and/or estimating experience

•        Strong verbal and written communication skills

•        Good electrical products knowledge

•        Engineering degree or background
