PRODUCTION SCHEDULER (2 Positions) (2008439)
DescriptionThe Production Scheduler¡¦s primary responsibilities include establishing and controlling production schedules, which includes placing and managing orders for semi-finished and finished goods inventory. Interactions with other groups include Marketing, Engineering, Production, and MIS to maximize labor utilization. Good written and oral communication skills are a must.Required Skills„« Able to consider large amounts of information quickly and identifies key issues„« Good written and oral communication skills to all levels in an organization„« Have the capability of working with short deadlines in a fast-paced environment„« Ability to function in a matrix organization„« Good project management skills„« Strong knowledge of the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)Required Experience„« Bachelor¡¦s Degree in Business or related field plus one year production planning/scheduling in a manufacturing environment„« OR Associate¡¦s Degree and three years experience„« OR equivalent combination of education and experience.„« Some MRP experience„« Lean and/or JIT experience preferred„« Tier 1 ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, JDE, etc.) preferred„« CPIM certification preferredSmith & Nephew requests that you apply for this position through our web site.
