THE TEAM
The Purchasing and Planning team is responsible for maintaining the consistent flow of material from the supplier to the customer for Quantronix’s product lines. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Production Planner.
THE POSITION
The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:Planning, scheduling and monitoring movement of material through the production cyclePrimary interface to enter and release production orders to meet customer requirementsCoordination of production plans considering labor loading and capacity requirements to ensure materials are provided according to schedulesScheduling, coordination and expediting the delivery and movement of critical material, including material transfers and material releasesTracking, management and analysis of inventory levels of materials, maintaining inventory per policy - tracking potential material overagesPerforming necessary transactions and maintaining accurate inventory records
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:3-5 years experience in planning/scheduling in a high tech manufacturing environmentPlanning skills using independent demand inventory models; MRPExcellent PC skills (especially MS Excel), Organizational skills, verbal and written communication skillsAS/BS Business or related degree preferred
