PRODUCT SUPPORT MANAGER

Crown is currently seeking a Product Support Manager for our Detroit, MI branch location.  Product Support Manager responsibilities are as follows:

 Plan, conduct, and participate in sales meetings. Design and implement sales strategies and programs. Coordinate activities among other managers ensuring proper communication. Review and approve sales-related functions as required.

 Work to increase customer satisfaction and retention.  Maintain direct contact with current and prospective Branch and National Accounts customers.

 Offer direction to Product Support personnel.  Assist staff in making customer calls.  Assist in daily time, territory, and account management. 

 Recruit, select, train, develop, and counsel direct reports.

 Review accounts receivable ensuring receipt of payment for the parts and services provided.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires a high school diploma as well as good communication, interpersonal, organizational and computer skills.  A four-year degree, or equivalent sales experience is desirable.  Three to five years lift truck industry experience with a sales background in service or parts is strongly preferred.  Other requirements are basic computer skills and a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and the ability to safely operate lift trucks.  Completion of a background check, drug screen, and physical is also required.
