PLANNING MANAGER

To continue our growth and success, we currently have immediate opportunity for a  PLANNING / LOGISTICS MANAGER in our Plant located in Lima, OH:

Main Purpose of the Job:

The Logistics Manager is responsible for the Supply Chain integration, by managing the production planning, warehousing and shipping/receiving.

 

Main Responsibilities:Responsible for production planning and capacity analysisResponsible for inventory accuracy and reportingManages interface between plant and customer for forecasts and ordering inputWorks with customers for securing delivery service qualityMaintains appropriate inventory levels for produced goods and raw materialsOrders master batch and raw materialsRecords daily figures to compile month-end reportsManages warehousing and transportation Manages Logistics DepartmentRecruits (with HR) new employeesDevelops/coaches team and performs disciplinary actionsOversees all training of the departmentPerforms performance evaluations on a regular basisEnsures safe and efficient running of departmentKeeps invoicing up-to-dateUpdates records and reports on a regular basisData analysis: Synthesize data and analyze trends to support Plant Manager

 Education/Experience:

•  Min 2 year Degree (Associates) in related field or equivalent, 4 year degree (Bachelor Degree) preferred

•  3 to 5 years of general logistics experience (production planning)

 

Qualifications/Skills:

•  Excellent computer skills (Excel, Power Point, Word)

•  Excellent numerical skills

•  Knowledge in using specific Logistics systems
