Manufacturing/Production/Operations Relevant Work Experience: 2+ to 5 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Contact Information Reference Code: 2171 Job Description PFEP   SUMMARY This very critical position will be responsible for about $10M in inventory. The position will be responsible for but not limited to improving material flow, inventory turns and developing a plan for every part (PFEP). All this will play a huge part in improving our ability to service our customers and shareholder value. Our goal to our customer is 98% on-time delivery while eliminating waste inside our plant. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop a plan for every part (PFEP) Develop Process and Procedure for maintaining the integrity of the PFEP Data Develop Process to link Master Scheduling/Production TAKT to raw material requirements Determine internal space requirement for material Work with purchasing to implement suppliers on pull systems Work with purchasing to improve on supplier material presentation and packaging size Develop min/max replenish for low volume volatile parts to achieve 98% customer on-time delivery Work with purchasing and logistics on optimizing supplier delivery routes and time Create audit reports Increase inventory turns Maintain target inventory levels Measure and publish performance metrics  Other duties as assigned     QUALIFICATIONS Familiar with ERP Systems (Preferably QAD) Intermediate to Expert in Materials Requirements Planning Familiar with and Implemented pull replenishment systems Developed business processes and procedures Analytical Intermediate to Expert in Excel     EXPERIENCE 3+ years in high volume, high mix & seasonal manufacturing environment  3+ years in Material Planning/Production Production/Material Management Supply Chain and Logistics experience a plus APICS, lean manufacturing or six sigma certification preferred   EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience   LANGUAGE SKILLS Able to communicate effectively in the English language   PHYSICAL DEMANDS  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
