Location: Saddle Brook, NJ 07663 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Sales/Retail/Business Development Experience: 5+ to 7 Years       Job Description   Tyco Flow Control (TFC) is the largest manufacturer of valves, smart controls and monitoring devices, serving the oil and gas, chemical, power generation, petrochemical, waterworks, and pulp and paper industries, as well as the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and specialty markets.The Saddle Brook, NJ based locaton has an exciting opportunity for a Outside Sales / Regional Sales Manager covering the Northwest Region of the United States.  This division generates approximately 50 million dollars of the $2.5 billion dollars in revenue and employs 200 associates in 3 locations around the globe. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:The person in this role has the responsibility of managing the business strategy for the valve monitoring and control solutions, managing existing and potential new authorized distributors and specification of products to engineering firms, OEM’s and direct plant accounts.   KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:1. Develop and recommend strategic direction for business growth.  2. Coordinate with respective inside sales contacts and outside sales team for maximization of sales effort, project specifications and synergies.  3. Drive growth in revenues and profit with focus directed specifically at specifying solutions for valve monitoring products, field service and turn-key networking solutions.4. Establish yearly budgets and targets, review and monitor financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure profitability, productivity and goal achievement.5. Provide foresight and innovative ideas that create profitable results for the organization.6. We are a “product centric’ company so the individual must be comfortable doing product demonstrations. 7. The position requires extensive travel in the Northwest at least 75% of the time.   EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:   Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business, or related field and at least 5 years experience in the field or in a related area. Knowledge of Process Instruments Controls, and service environment strongly preferred.
