Operations Manager, Manufacturing, Distribution, Metal
Rolled Alloys, a successful international specialty metals distributor for over 50 years, is currently seeking an energetic people motivator with excellent managerial skills to lead a successful Operations team at our Sapulpa, Oklahoma location.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for directing all functions of the plant facility to include the coordination of manpower and material flow while ensuring safety requirements and quality standards are met. Must have previous Supervisory or Operations Management experience and the ability to create and work within a budget. Will be called on to provide leadership to accomplish the goals and objectives of both the Manufacturing and Sales Departments.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement a plus.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Should possess the demonstrated ability to:
- Balance the delivery of product on a schedule while maintaining Customer satisfaction.
- Effectively and professionally interface with all internal departments, internal and external customers, officials, auditors, and other company representatives.
- Mentor other Managers and establish/implement a plan for their professional development.
Requires at least five years directly related experience, including demonstrated supervisory background, the ability to plan and coordinate the activities of assigned organization, and the ability to provide technical and administrative leadership to accomplish organizational goals and commitments.
Working knowledge of metal cutting processes is preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, Project and PowerPoint. Ability to work in a team environment and interface with all levels of employees.
Some travel may be a requirement in this position.
