Operations Leader
Responsible for direct supervision of hourly production Team Leaders and production Team Members.Integrate processes, teams, people, and resources to achieve daily and long-term operating ojbectives for operations in safety, quality, production, cost, and people development.Responsible for fostering open communications and actively clarifying and communicating business goals, accomplishments and activities in support of operating objectives.Evaluate and improve the skills and performance of Production Team Members and Produciton Team Leaders. Develop Team Leaders skill resulting in improved produciton management (schedules, quality, safety, housekeeping).Administer disciplin and provide consistency in the application of Trane policy.Develop and meet budgets, operating plans and control costs of operations.Lead/participate in problem-solving and productivity improvement teams. Must have demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to elad by example, the ability to positively influence and iinspire to others to meet and or exceed goals.Demonstrated ability to communicate goals, strategy and vision.Experience in setting performance goals and providing feedback.Demonstrated effective communication skills.Must have demonstrated the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Demonstrated ability to lead with minimum direct supervision.Working knowledge of MicroSoft Windows, Word and Excel.This opening may be required to work any shift as required.Must have a good attendance record.Must be willing to work overtime as required.4 yer degree (technical degree preferred) and/or equivalent experience.1-5 years supervisory experience.
