Operational Excellence Manager - Watertown, WI
Description:Eaton Corporation located in Watertown, Wisconsin has an opening for an Operational Excellence Manager. The primary function of this position is to improve organizational effectiveness through the coordination and deployment of the Eaton Business System; ensuring growth, productivity, and quality objectives. Specific responsibilities include Quality Management System (ISO9001) deployment, Eaton Lean System deployment, 8D corrective action, Six Sigma program management, Eaton Quality System and leading the plants effort to further mature in the Eaton Business Excellence criteria.Additional responsibilities include:- Drive continual improvement in the Eaton Business Excellence process throughout the organization.- Drive Eaton Lean System deployment through training, facilitation, and deployment of resources.- Drive the Six Sigma program success by providing training, technical support, and program coordination.- Drive continual quality improvement through the Quality Management System and the Eaton Quality System. Influence and drive resources to resolve customer quality issues, escalating issues as necessary.- Identify and eliminate process variations resulting in external and internal failures through 8-D corrective action, ELSS, EQS and other Quality Management System tools and processes.- Facilitate the implementation and reporting of Balanced Scorecard metrics. Report Balanced Scorecard results to the leadership team.- Responsible for manufacturing and quality engineering which provides maintenance of line support, future state value stream map and quality plan deployment.- Ensure that processes needed for the quality management system are established, implemented and maintained.- Report to top management on the performance of the quality management system, Eaton Tools and any needs for improvement.- Ensure the promotion and awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization- Develop, Implement and evaluate quality systems and continuously improve these systems.Qualifications:Position requires BS degree in Engineering, minimum of five years experience in Manufacturing and/or Engineering. MS preferred.
