A well-established electronics assembly company who specializes in outstanding customer service and rapid order fulfillment is seeking a motivated, hard working individual to join our front office team at the Irvine location.

 

The Office Assistant position requires strong customer service skills, ability to multi-task, attention to detail, and must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently.  A successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate initiative.

 

General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Ø  Assisting the Office Manager with various clerical tasks including purchasing, spreadsheet data entry, and various other projects as assigned;

Ø  Backing up the Accounting Department;

Ø  Reception work including greeting outside visitors, answering phone calls,  photocopying, and typing documents.

 

Applicants must have strong PC experience and proficiency with word processing, data-base, and spreadsheet applications; knowledge of Peachtree or other accounting software a plus.  High school diploma or equivalent; and at least 2 years of administrative experience are required. Applicants must have the ability to sit at a desk and work at a computer for several hours at a time.

Prefer bilingual in Vietnamese or Spanish

 

Salary dependent upon experience and skills ($12 - $16 per hour).
