Yoh Health Care has an opening for an Occupational Health Nurse for a large Manufacturing Company in Latham, NY to work on a contractual basis 5 days a week for 1 month and then on a per diem basis. The nurse will work 8:30-4:30 or 7-3:30The Occupational health nurse will be responsible for providing occupational and preventive care to employees. Responsibilities: • Provides emergency first aid care. • Provides first aid care, treatments, vitals, follow-up, and medications for employee illness and injuries • Performs spirometry, audiometry, vision, phlebotomy • Workers Compensation Assessments • Drug ScreensRequirements: • BSN/Associates • Nursing licensure in NY • Previous experience in occupational health, or Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN) is desirable, nurses with emergency room experience will be considered. • Certification as required by the Medical Department (i.e., audiometry, spirometry, etc • CPR certificationDiscover all that’s possible with Yoh Health Care.
