New Products Manager, Water Filtration

Well rounded, fast paced, multi-tasking position working with very large clients to deliver new custom water filtration products.  Duties include defining product requirements with customers, managing product design and filtration R&D, certifying products with regulatory agencies, transferring production to overseas factory, and ensuring production timelines and quality objectives are met.  Position will be main point of contact for customer during product development phase.  Job requires extensive communication with overseas factory, many times during odd hours, and periodic overseas travel.  On a daily basis you will interface with customers, R&D, designers, suppliers, certifying agencies, QC, and production. 

Successful candidate will enjoy working for a small company where many hats are worn on a daily basis.  Candidate must enjoy hands on work and solving problems.  Successful candidate will be extremely organized, will be used to working at a fast pace with excellent time management skills, and pay great attention to detail.  Successful candidate will also have the ability to grow the business by working with sales to secure new accounts.

Must have good communication skills and good computer skills.  Job requires a minimum of a basic understanding of Mechanical Engineering and Chemistry.  Experience with quality systems required.  Experience with water filtration, plastic injection molding, and plumbing parts a plus.  Bachelors Degree in business, engineering, or related degree required.  Salary commiserate with education and experience.
