New Product Head-HDD Characterization Engineer - H1826

Job Description * Responsible for one or more head product performance/yield/quality * Technical interface between head teams (design, development, manufacturing, QA) and HDD business untis for the designated product(s) * Create and Support HDD yield/performance/quality improvements by wafer-through-HDD data analysis and FA to optimize head design targets, specs, testing and processes and to identify/drive other head improvement actions * Indpendently perform technical analysis and data mining using large data sets * Support wafer/slider process/tooling change qualifications and the communication with the HDD customerJob Requirements * MS or PhD in Engineering or Statistics * Strong  analytical skills * Familiar with HDD testing and wafer/slider/hga processes * Strong commincation skillsHow to Apply TO APPLY: hgstcareers@hitachigst.com Hitachi Global Storage Technologies, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
