- Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree - 3-5 years experience is required - Customer service skills are required - Education and/or experience is required - Recent experience in the specialty area is required Under the general direction of the Manager of Technical Services, the Network Administrator III troubleshoots software and hardware problems related to VoIP, Network Security and Network Infrastructure. Responds to calls escalated by IS support teams; participates in IS projects; installs new hardware and software; replaces broken hardware as appropriate. Qualifications: Associates Degree with five years of experience or Bachelor's degree with three years of experience supporting VoIP and Network Infrastructure. Cisco certification strongly preferred (CCIE, CCNP, etc.). Must have experience supporting Cisco VoIP, supporting products such as firewalls and VPN concentrators (Cisco PIX, ASA, etc.) and supporting Cisco routers and switches. Proficiency in personal computers and network technologies needed, with sound hardware/software troubleshooting skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven project management skills desired. Must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within field.
