National Sales Associate
International headquarters for an award winning outdoor furniture designer/manufacturer is accepting applications for a newly created National Sales Associate position. This visionary organization whose customer base includes Disneyworld, Starbucks Coffee, Panera Bread and Club Med, has a reputation for creating stylishly designed and uniquely durable products for hospitality and contract installations. Their team-driven staff consisting of designers, artisans, manufacturing professionals and a growing sales and marketing group is motivated by an environment that nurtures independent thought, personal accountability and the pursuit of knowledge and unbridled growth.
The ideal candidate for the National Sales Associate opportunity will have a minimum of five years of experience working in a customer sales/support environment, remarkable communication skills, a strong sense of urgency and motivation, business acumen and a sophisticated, inquisitive and intelligent approach to researching, identifying, and approaching potential accounts such as theme parks, resorts, architects, designers, and restaurant chains.
Reporting to the VP of Sales, the qualified individual will have a four year degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent sales training in lieu of a degree. It is imperative that all candidates have Microsoft Office skills, internet research proficiency and be willing to travel occasionally.
Responsibilities of this opportunity include but are not limited to:Data mining and researching to locate potential businessContacting prospective accounts by mail, telephone, and personal visitsObtaining new accounts as per defined goals and expectationsCollaborating with the marketing team to attend trade shows and follow up on leadsDeveloping and implementing corporate sales strategies to grow and maintain customer base Gaining a thorough understanding of company products and manufacturing capabilities and their applications to customer needsRemaining vigilantly aware of industry trends, competitive advantages/disadvantages and new product developments
Base salary and commission commensurate with experience. Benefits package to include health care, vacation, and 401(k)
