Monitoring Center Operator
VES Fire Protection Systems located in King of Prussia, PA is currently looking for Operators for their soon to be opening Monitoring Center.  A desired Monitoring Center Operator will enthusiastically learn and train along side Monitoring Shift Supervisor to gain proficiency in day to day operations. This position involves monitoring and processing of incoming alarm signals, directing of incoming phone calls and daily, weekly or monthly record keeping activities. Â
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. A moderate to high level of ability to work with computers and computer software. Possesses very good interpersonal skills and speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations. Prospective employees must have reliable forms of transportation. Holiday and weekend work availability is a requirement for this position. Administrative or clerical skills a plus. SIA certification or CSAA certification is beneficial, but not required.
