Mgr, Logistics, Planning, Forecast, Call (520)323-6903Description: Responsible for tracking, planning and forecasting the company's raw materials and finished goods inventory. Predict the inventory requirements and demand for products. Monitor forecast trends at the product and customer levels. Responsible for maintaining and managing forecast tools and models. Heavy interaction with the finance, planning and sales departments. Use of demand planning tools. Work with forecast specialists to optimize performance of supply chain through demand management and demand forecasting. Provide leadership in supply chain customer logistics and operations, production scheduling and demand planning activities. Provide best solutions for customers' needs by balancing cost control, distribution, operational requirements, production throughput, changing needs of the customer, accuracy of demand forecast and product supply. Develop demand forecasts and use appropriate forecasting models. Develop forecast trend analysis. Maintain and develop baseline forecasts. Improve present procedures and create new methods. Knowledge of statistics. Experience in demand planning software such as Logility or Manugistics as well as Excel. Through understanding of and experience in a supply chain function area, such as forecasting, inventory control or demand planning. Knowledge of ERP or MRP software. Manugistics (software for supply chain management) Strong leadership and communication skills.
