Mgr - Business Development

Job Description:JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for marketing and product management, business development, establishing competitive product positioning, sales/marketing promotions and programs, pricing, customer management and relations, market and competitive research and strategic direction. Varied business skills and versatility in working with executive level management both internally and externally is a requirement of this position. Further, individual must manage, coach and lead staff in development, implementation, and execution of annual business plan.PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:1.Manage and plan the direction and development of the Countertop Groups product forecasts, budgets and personnel requirements for the builder channel.2.Participate in strategic planning process, indentifying evaluating and qualifying potential opportunities and creating strategic partnerships necessary for implementation.3.Manage customer relationships, product portfolios, pricing policy and contractual agreements.4.Create tactical and strategic channel roadmaps and detailed plans, including annual and long range plans.5.Strong consultative skills required, negotiating and structuring key solution and business partners, driving new markets, brand recognition and revenue.6.Drive overall business initiatives, positioning Masco Builder Cabinet and Countertop Group as the market and industry leader.7.Monitor and track performance of products, programs and relationships, measuring ROI and scaling opportunities, as well as financial impact.8.Additional duties and responsibilities as requested by the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Countertops Group.QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:Essential Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor degree in business or related field, Ability to relate to individuals at all levels of the organization. Intermediate-advanced knowledge of the MS Office suite.
