U. S. Steel Tubular Products, Inc., a leading producer of seamless and welded pipe for the energy industry, has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Process Leader at its Texas Operations in Houston, TX. This position will report to the Division Manager and will lead mechanical process activities . Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

· Administration of the U. S. Steel Tubular Products safety program to ensure a safe work environment within the operating facility.

· Leads a variety of administrative processes including crew scheduling, outage planning, and other reporting as necessary by the operating facility.

 

Serve as a lead for the maching group to include production scheduling, maintenance scheduling, productivty, and mechanical concerns.

Job Requirements:


Must possess a thorough knowledge of metals machining.

Working knowledge of lathes, boring machines, and other common tooling equipment is necessary. This would include both semi and fully automated CNC equipment.

Direct experience in the metals industry is highly desirable.

7 + years of supervisory experience is required.
