Mechanical Engineer/Designer

Mechanical Engineers and Designers needed full time to develop mechanical design standards for medium and low voltage switchgear assemblies. Mechanical engineers / designers will develop product standards, maximize common parts usage, create and maintain design guides for production engineers and be involved with cost control and quality development. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years experience in sheet metal design and possess a good understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes.  Working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor 3D a plus. Candidate must possess good communication skills, leadership potential and be quality oriented. Minimum two-year technical school certificate in mechanical drafting/design or equivalent A good understanding and exposure to the IEEE / ANSI-C37 standards relating to switchgear assemblies Minimum 5 years experience with sheet metal Working knowledge of GD&T a plus Able to demonstrate good documentation skills Good communication skills
